After the present beta version about 1 week ago, now Steam application is available for download and use by all users. Steam itself can be directly downloaded through the Apple App Store and Android Market. This application allows users to view their Steam friends who are online or playing any game at the same time, also speaking through a chat client. This mobile application also allows users to see what games are available, see footage of the game display, and see whether the news is being discounted game desired. Steam itself is still the largest source for PC and Mac games to download today.

To note, today there are some games from Valve which is sold outside of Steam, GameStop’s example only service Impulse PC game that offers some Valve games like Portal 2, Left 4 Dead, etc.. This is the first game from Valve that is present on other digital downloads services. Valve games on Impulse from Steam itself requires authentication.
